Xmas Eve - Dec 24th


1. ate lunch with buddy at Din Tai Fung, was quite a spread for someone with my kinda appetite. had a good chat with him considering my mood that day, thanks bud! You don't know how relieved i was to have someone to talk to instead of having to face the four walls of my home & let e bitter thoughts run free.


2. went to the office to submit my timesheet & headed down to bestie's place for steamboat & xmas exchange! it was so nice to see Fion, YL, JS, Vien & Elaine again. Bestie is not counted cause i saw her just the day before. lol.

I found orgasmic delight in my new found favourite food - cheese tofu. omg, i get thrilled thinking of the cheese that oozes out when u sink your teeth onto the fishcake (yar, it's not exactly tofu, whoever came up with the name obviously is a liar but a culinary genuis).

Xmas Day - Dec 25th

went to church for our annual xmas production! once again, the performance was fantastic. the comic brothers did their groove to the tunes of "I've got a feeling" this time round. loved the ending where alison sang "Silent Night". her voice somehow instantly touched me and emotions just welled up inside. thoughts of all the things that have happened this past week just flashed through my mind. I just felt at that instant that God was telling me that whatever that has happened has happened, it's time to put away the past hurts and a sense of peace just soothed me as i stood there in awe of His presence.

brought buddy HJ along for the service & i'm glad that he was impacted by the drama too! We later joined Jo and Alex for a late, late lunch at Changi Airport.

After which, i met WP for Sherlock Holmes! we wanted to catch Avatar 3D but the tickets were all sold out :( i was super disappointed that i couldn't catch the movie! Thankfully, Sherlock Holmes turned out to be really good, well worth every cent! 5/5 popcorns!

When i got home in the wee hours of the night, to my horror, i found my entire closet of clothes on the floor of the living room...mum had thrown my pile of clothes cause i have been delaying the clearance of my wardrobe since forever.

Boxing Day - 26th Dec

Woke up to the screams of mum yelling for me to clear out my closet. what an alarm clock. sure made me wake up in a sec.

cleaned out my closet & rushed down to meet estelle & WP for our Dempsey outing.

after Dempsey, i was off to Bishan to find the hall 16 seniors for our HALL 16 Gathering!

we were trying to compete who had the thickest cheeks...or as HJ puts it, chick theeks. lol.

i can't seem to manage to cup the right amount of fats out on my cheeks but i'm entirely convinced that i have the thickest cheeks outta all the girls. no thanks to my round "mooncake-like" face.
