night out at sheraton towers with uni peeps.

they bought bottles of chivas, dessert wine, red wine...surprisingly green tea and chivas taste quite good (of course,that being the chivas content 1/10 and green tea content 9/10).

it was a superbly fun night as we played card games till the wee hours of the night.

the best part was when we were playing indian poker...and as some of you may know, 2 happens to be the lowest card in terms of value. and alice, for 4 consecutive times, picked up the "di" (which refers to the card value 2). it was just hilarious. she really was in major bad luck that night, and no matter how many times we tried to save her from getting forfeit. at the 4th di, i just couldn't control my laughter any longer and bluffed her in believing that this time she got a better card. she was doomed for the forfeit. how hard and might i add, rare, do u see someone getting 4 di. if she were playing dai di, she would have won hands down.

there was another fun game involving poker cards where each person had to reveal a card from the stack of poker cards (faced down).

each number had a meaning to it:

card values 1-5: meant the number of sips of alcohol you have to drink

card value 6: you are supposed to come up with a secret action and at any point of the game, when you do that action, everyone has to follow, the least observant and who does not follow the action will have to drink.

card value 7: 7-up game

card value 8: play a rhyming game, going down the circle, the person you can't rhyme drinks

card value 9: set a rule (e.g.must say a blessing before you speak)

card value 10: errr.i can't remember. lol

J: all guys drink

Q: all girls drink

K: pour whatever you want into this "king" cup, after 4 turns, the person who gets k will hafta drink up the "king" cup

A: toilet card (important especially if you are playing for long, as no one is allowed to use the toilet during the game unless you get a toilet card)

the game was really fun. the reason why i am describing it in such great detail is so that i can refer back whenever i've forgotten the rules. haha.
