Myrna & Titus Holy Matrimony

this was my virgin experience at being a jie mei. And having gone through the gate crashing and the whole process (from the gate crash --> tea ceremony --> holy mat --> dinner banquet), i must say i do enjoy the experience.

First and foremost, i was truly happy to be part of my good friend's happy moment. To be able to help her out in one of the most important days in her life is my honor and privilege. I love her to bits and i am so happy for the newly weds. It really is such a good feeling to have found a soul mate/good friend/lover to settle down with and spend the rest of your lives together.

i used to cringe at the thought of being tied down a few years back and it really seemed like the worst idea to be tied down at such a young age...but having gone through 2 of my good friends' wedding, i'm beginning to understand the joy of marriage and why people marry.

I don't think i'm ready at the moment but i would eventually want to settle down with someone whom i love and who will love me back unconditionally.

the beautiful bride. she was absolutely stunning that day. it's true that all brides look their best on their wedding days. Myrna was one of the prettiest brides i've seen yet and i'm not saying this just cause she' my good friend. She looks like an actress, doncha think? :D

they are a talented bunch! amoz is indeed the master of guitar. just let him hear any song and he can play it instantly!! i am so going to get him to play for my wedding in future! muhaha.

Hwee Ting is another incredibly talented keyboardist, guitarist & violinist! Now what can she not do?!! Our church is truly building up a generation ready to take the world by storm!! Woots!

And zhijian, the awesome tenor! he can harmonize really well! and it's not easy mind you! i wish i could do it as well too! :)

had a really good time singing and praising God together with them. We sang "Oh Happy Day' and "First" for praise and worship respectively.

with my good friend/cg/role model/sister. She is truly a testimony in every aspect of the word. The things that she goes through in life is beyond anyone's imagination, like a real life soap opera unravelling itself. but she's always held her faith together and has stayed faithful to the church and trusted in God that no matter what, He will lead her through. She's currently going through another rough patch in her life and just wana pray that she will stay strong and with support from friends/bf and loved ones, she will tide through this. LOVE YOU LILIAN! <3

it was a tiring but fulfilling day. woke up at 5am to get to Myrna's place for gate crash. after which, went to Titus house for tea ceremony and rushed down to church for rehearsals and P&W. The whole thing ended around 6+pm with a reception for the guests.

i thought i would cry seeing my good friend get married, haha, cause i nearly did during her rehearsal for march in! it's really been a wonderful journey for them, i've seen her grow up from a young, innocent, drama-mama gal to a gorgeous woman and the wife of a fine young man. it's so surreal in a way. how time flies!

to all those couples --> get married soon! (Disclaimer: of course, you need to be sure he/she is the right one :p)

to all the single lads/ladies --> find someone to spend the rest of your life with! you won't regret it!

Charmaine's 21st birthday

saw this gal grow up...think the first time i knew her was when she was 17?

whoa, looking back, it sure is long! She was a little girl then and now, she's slowly growing up to be a beautiful lady :)

anyway, she held her birthday at 7kickstart brewich @ wilbur road near Armenian street

accompanied dear for the saturday service cause he couldn't make it for the sunday's service that weekend. He then joined me for Char's birthday celebration right after, happy that he came along despite being v busy mugging for his final exams.

Valentine's Day 2012

this is the first year i'm celebrating v'day with Leonard.

actually it's also the first time i'm celebrating v'day without my gfs.

it's a strange but nice feeling (not that i don't love my gfs!)...but i've never been a "valentine day" sorta gal...it's never really meant much to me and i couldn't even remember the exact day of valentine's day other than the fact that it falls in the month of february.

Unfortunately, this year v'day falls on a tuesday and both of us having to study that day, decided to celebrate in advance....

How??

maybe i should have laid on my table to mug back in university as well, maybe i'd be as smart as him >.<

after mugging for most part of the day, we then headed down for a simple dinner at Spruce Cafe. They serve really good and tender steaks at reasonable prices :) i'd never thought i'd say that i like steak but i must admit the ones at Spruce are really not bad.
