Sun-tanning at Sentosa

Pretty Addy, whom i tricked into going for a sun-tanning session with.

Me: (via sms) "Hey Addy, you wana go Sentosa on Sunday? We can take a look around Sentosa Resort World :)"

Addy agrees.

WP: "What if she wears something glamourous, thinking she's going to Resort World, but we end up bringing her to sun-tan?"

Me: "Errr...ya hor, okay, msg her to tell her to wear something suitable for the beach"

When Addy finally finds out the purpose of the trip is to sun-tan...

Addy: "I was wondering why Resort World has a beach!"

and so....the entire day, we let her lay in the coconut tree's shade. LOL.

but my sun-tanning efforts failed miserably, okay la, to give the sun some credit, arms were a bit tanner by the end of the day. hahaha.

on a side note, Resorts World Casino @ Sentosa is finally open (they were opened at the auspicious hour of 12.18). cool. but Singaporeans and PRs gotta pay 100 bucks to enter, that is just crazy. i just wanna see the place, i don't wana gamble! Will they let me in for just 1 buck then? Pretty please. it's more than a Mac Donald's ice cream cone :)

it was such a hot day too.

not much of a new year mood this year

guess i'm at the age where i no longer feel excited over ang baos, new clothes & etc. As you can see, i didn't even wear new clothes this CNY, too plain lazy. haha, this is bad, i'm only in my early twenties and i'm starting to sound like an ol' woman in her 40s who's constantly grumbling about the doldrums of life.

but i'm still enjoying every minute of rest i'm getting from work though. i wish this could go on forever :p

we also went to catch a midnight movie "Percy Jackson & the Lightning Thief". a nice, funny, fluffy movie with good looking protagonist and antagonist.

oh and before i forget, a Happy Valentine's Day to all you sweet loving couples out there!

my health conscious family eats healthy steamboat...look at all the vege! no meat except for beef and fish.



my bee hoon. haha, it doesn't look very appealing, but it's quite tasty :) my family doesn't really have much fancy for strong flavours so the food we cook are mostly on the blander (but still tasty) side.


after dinner at home, it was on to ah goong's place for more FOOODD!!! gonna get fat this new year!
