finally i'm slowly seeing my dream materialise.

i really pray that this will work out well.

i hope the trip to HK will be fruitful and that God will guide us and lead us to all the right places and let us have a bountiful harvest.

i don't wana give up before even trying.

Myrna's "21" Birthday

it was a bittersweet moment cause it was also her last cg with n109436.

it really is quite sad to see my good pal leave for another cg, after all we've been in the same cg ever since i joined church 7 years ago.

we grew up together. i saw her blossom from an awkward teenager in church to a confident, spiritual & loving cell group leader.

truly she has always been so full of love for Christ and the ppl around her and it shows.

i will definitely miss her a lot and all the mrt train rides back from cg where we'll share about random events in our daily lives or simply laugh over the dumbest things.

still recall the times when we would "beatbox", take "shi lian pai" shots, go ktv-ing, etc etc. the beatbox thing was simply hilarious!

Oriole Cafe with momo

celebrated a very very belated birthday for my dear jc pal, momo.

by belated, i mean 3 mths belated :S

1/4 of a year.

jia lat. i realised as we grow older, birthdays suddenly seem less significant.

Anyway...

momo is a caffeine addict and what better place to bring her than the best coffee place in town to feed her addiction. 

can i just say that i absolutely love the live band!!! omg. the lead singer is just fab. he sang lotsa my fave songs, "Time of Your Life" by Greenday, "The Scientist" by Coldplay, etc etc.

i'd come back anytime just to hear them sing.

Science Centre

ahhh. it's been a while since i walked around the actual science centre exhibits, the last time i came to the centre was merely to look at the csi and mona lisa exhibition.

really must say...science centre shld increase its budget on maintenance and spend more money on more innovative and interesting exhibits cause sooooo many of the exhibits were spoilt! hmmph. 

the only saving grace was imax theatre which was showing some documentary on pre-historic sea creatures.

the theatre was super comfy with screens extending all the way to the ceiling. haha. good for sleeping. and we saw monks coming to watch too! hmm, makes me wonder if they get allowance for entertainment?

my head and eyes are practically non-existent here. so small!!

we thought this was an exhibit cause the picture looked funny, and it was placed in the visual/illusions section...who wouldn't think this was some optical illusion as well? :S

half expected president's eyes to move. hurhur.

astronaut ice cream. tasted not too bad actually. but if this was the only dessert in space,you can bet i am not going up there anytime soon. maybe the day i get diabetes. lol.

i like this pic, the lens flare above my head makes me look holy or something. haha.

Lilliputt Mini Golf

Singapore's only themed indoor mini golf!

it was superbly fun, great for families, young & old, basically everyone. haha.

there's all together 18 putting stations, each modelled after famous landmarks in Singapore (e.g. Changi Airport, Har Paw Villa,Esplanade, Zoological Gardens, Tanjong Pagar, etc.) with it's own set of obstacles.

i'd never knew such a place existed in Singapore until now. Shua gu right?

and it's been aaaaageeess since i last touched a golf club (since sec school?) and the only technique that i recall was how to hold the golf club, every other knowledge might as well have sanked with the Titanic ship cause i was LOUSY.
