ewww. met a dirty, ol', fat creep on the train today.

kept staring till i felt horribly uncomfortable, i had to turn my back against him.

the worst part about it was, he was invading my personal space. staring and much tooo close.

and the nerve of him to follow close behind me when i finally felt i couldn't take another min standing next to him. argh.

to my horror, i eventually found him standing beside me again and breathing down my arms.

yucks.

when i finally alighted to change trains, i was so relieved, i quickly took up a place near the railings and i was horrified to find him following me and rooting himself right in my face. i had to turn and stare at the window instead.

seriously, i hate creeps like that. if he dared make a single move, i would have screamed at him. no mercy spared.

gross.

PLAYNATION with Bestie & JS!

absolutely love this place! it's sooo much better than mines/satellers cafe or even the both combined.

WHY??!

cause you get to play WII consoles and xbox/microsoft kinect. board games are aplenty too!

alrights. i gotta admit, maybe we're kinda too old for games and all...but what the heck...

there's no age limit for wii games or any games for that matter.

i proudly admit i actually enjoy busting mushrooms and bomb spilling dragons in SUPER MARIO, and dancing wriggling to pop/salsa/bangla tunes of LET'S DANCE 1 & 2, and shooting rabbids in RAVING RABBITS.

so bite me.

AND

and for 5.50bucks per hour, i'd say it was darn cheap too.

on another note! i've started training for my april hiking trip! NEPAL HERE I COME!

*sheepish* by training, i meant walking for 1.5hrs at bukit timah hill. the embarrassing part is....my legs kinda ache. i don't know how i'm going to endure 10 days of trekking at annapurna :S

and i just realised even though i probably will save on shopping expenses in Nepal (duh) but i've gotta spend money on the entire trekking gear.can you believe trekking boots alone cost 295bucks!!! and that's not inclusive of the trekking wear...inner lining that absorbs sweat and dries fast, outer fleece, wind breaker & outer wear. ohhhhhhh mannnnn........

me and le sportiva trekking boots with it's very "pretty" price tag attached. and as you can see, it's not even nice and horror of horrors, it cuts off my already short legs! gasp! man, if i wasn't worried my ankles would get twisted while on the annapurna trail, i would insist on getting a bright coloured low ankle trekking boots. but thank goodness (or not, depending on how you see it), my common sense overrid my bimbo-ness.

Marina Bay Sands with cousins & aunts

ahem. this wasn't at MBS yet. we had dinner at ION and boy was it a spread. rarely does my family ever eat much (we are what most ppl would call small eaters, one of my aunts used to complain that my family serves more ingredients than rice and thus, not filling, lol) but when the extended family comes together, you can be sure we will get lots and lots of food.

aunt & cousin who just came back from aussie :)

aunts!

i love salmon. raw/teriyaki/'smoked/grilled/baked. you name it, i'll eat it. absolute love.

in the hotel room. the best part of the room...wasn't the view...it was the...toilet! the bathtube was cute. haha. i think i've seen my share of night views so i'm no longer easily impressed by an eagles eye view of city landscapes, especially one which i am already so familiar with (i get to see it from my own office building :S).

my lil's cousins...can't believe V is going to university already! whoa, it's like i saw her when she was so little and now, they've all grown up into fine young ladies.

my mummy and lil' sis :)

they look alike here!

aunt treated us to chocolate buffet at the Skypark! THANK YOU!

Rider's Cafe @ 51 Fairways Drive

had dinner with momo...errr, last year.

so kill me.

my good pal from jc! absolutely miss her chipmunk voice! :)

Science Centre for the CSI Exhibition

we always try to find ways to kill time, especially in boring ol' singapore.

we've tried flying fox in sentosa, beaching, da vinci code exhibition, this time we visited the CSI exhibition.

initially, we were all kinda apprehensive about paying for this cause it seemed like something designed for kids and their family.

but it turned out pretty cool. Basically, we were tasked with solving 3 cases. Questionaires were provided to us and we had to fill it up with every report/observation we had as we went around the different stations. At the start, we had to view the crime scenes to detail down every single evidence/thing we spotted. After which, we had to visit the stations designed as the autopsy room/dna room/fibre testing/etc and tested the different evidence found in the crime scenes. Finally, we gathered all the results found and processed our answers into a computer at the final station. It would then play out scenes of the crime and unravel to us what really happened. pretty neat.

that was not all, there were other cool stuff like lie detectors/memory testing games/some uv light room/etc. i found it rather interesting if not for the lack of time.

i think i am rather a nerd, don't ya think? lol. i can't believe i actually enjoy these kinda stuff now that i'm blogging about it. haha.

LATEST UPDATE!

I AM GOING TO NEPAL COME APRIL!!!!!

say helllo to EVEREST BABY!!

haha.

kidding. we'll only be climbing Annapurna, the mountain beside it, but equally fantastic!

noticed how the word everest is sooo HHUUGE but not Annapurna. haha. cause i'm too much of a show off. i want everyone to think i'm climbing everest, haha.

anti-climax huh.

but considering that the only mountain i ever climbed was a pathetic volcano in Korea, which took like....10 hours?

this 10 day hike up to Annapurna Base Camp would be no easy feat, for me at least!

this is ANNAPURNA!!!

and this is my goal....

BASE CAMP.

in order to do this...i gotta start training for the hike.

i feel all motivated and hyped up again.

absolutely love to travel.

i wish i was a discovery channel explorer.

and if luck is on my side (and if i can take the amount of turbulence...), this is what we (hopefully) will be able to do....

the everest experience by buddha air.
