PLAYNATION with Bestie & JS!
absolutely love this place! it's sooo much better than mines/satellers cafe or even the both combined.
WHY??!
cause you get to play WII consoles and xbox/microsoft kinect. board games are aplenty too!
alrights. i gotta admit, maybe we're kinda too old for games and all...but what the heck...
there's no age limit for wii games or any games for that matter.
i proudly admit i actually enjoy busting mushrooms and bomb spilling dragons in SUPER MARIO, and dancing wriggling to pop/salsa/bangla tunes of LET'S DANCE 1 & 2, and shooting rabbids in RAVING RABBITS.
so bite me.
AND
and for 5.50bucks per hour, i'd say it was darn cheap too.
on another note! i've started training for my april hiking trip! NEPAL HERE I COME!
*sheepish* by training, i meant walking for 1.5hrs at bukit timah hill. the embarrassing part is....my legs kinda ache. i don't know how i'm going to endure 10 days of trekking at annapurna :S
and i just realised even though i probably will save on shopping expenses in Nepal (duh) but i've gotta spend money on the entire trekking gear.can you believe trekking boots alone cost 295bucks!!! and that's not inclusive of the trekking wear...inner lining that absorbs sweat and dries fast, outer fleece, wind breaker & outer wear. ohhhhhhh mannnnn........
me and le sportiva trekking boots with it's very "pretty" price tag attached. and as you can see, it's not even nice and horror of horrors, it cuts off my already short legs! gasp! man, if i wasn't worried my ankles would get twisted while on the annapurna trail, i would insist on getting a bright coloured low ankle trekking boots. but thank goodness (or not, depending on how you see it), my common sense overrid my bimbo-ness.
Marina Bay Sands with cousins & aunts
ahem. this wasn't at MBS yet. we had dinner at ION and boy was it a spread. rarely does my family ever eat much (we are what most ppl would call small eaters, one of my aunts used to complain that my family serves more ingredients than rice and thus, not filling, lol) but when the extended family comes together, you can be sure we will get lots and lots of food.
aunt & cousin who just came back from aussie :)
aunts!
i love salmon. raw/teriyaki/'smoked/grilled/baked. you name it, i'll eat it. absolute love.
in the hotel room. the best part of the room...wasn't the view...it was the...toilet! the bathtube was cute. haha. i think i've seen my share of night views so i'm no longer easily impressed by an eagles eye view of city landscapes, especially one which i am already so familiar with (i get to see it from my own office building :S).
my lil's cousins...can't believe V is going to university already! whoa, it's like i saw her when she was so little and now, they've all grown up into fine young ladies.
my mummy and lil' sis :)
they look alike here!
aunt treated us to chocolate buffet at the Skypark! THANK YOU!
