August 4 - Michelle's wedding at Capella

it was definitely a memorable night with the theme being the old so formal black tie. everyone was dressed up to their nines, girls with their long ball gowns and men in their smart suit.

the gorgeous flower setting in the most beautiful ballroom in Singapore. apparently, the flower arrangement alone was a whooping $7k. :/

it was a unexpectedly beautiful night out at tangoing beach club. we all had our apprehensions about the venue and suspected there would not be enough seats. but alas, kudos to the organizing committee for such wonderful execution.

there were gladiator games, life-size jengo blocks, fire blowing performers and gals wearing barely there clothing gyrating on the makeshift platforms.

what made the whole event even sweeter was....

*drumroll*

I couldn't believe my ears when i heard the lady call out my name....

"SANDRA NG LI-WEN"

hhhhmmm???

"SANDRA NGGG...."

hhhmmmm?????!!!!

"SANDRA NG....IS SHE HERE???"

"HERE!! HERE!!!"

with the funny and dramatic serena.

that night, serena got into a huge argument with this audit-punk. The lil' punk complained that she had spilt water onto his girlfriend's dress. He'd immediately took his cup of water and splashed it over Serena's face. it happened so fast, we barely blinked. 

Vicks, wei lin and i were utterly shocked at his move. 

"what in the world was he thinking...."

this was a company event. not some party at zouk.

oh boy. what a lousy move there.

He even had the audacity to pull a punch at Serena (well, attempted to at least) before Vicks shouted "stop, this is a company event!"

the kid and his girlfriend then scurried away to the restroom while Serena went chasing after them.

we'd immediately got HJ's help to control the whole situation.

They eventually apologized after the guys from tax B crowded around them. 

but seriously, what kind of idiot would do such a thing at a company event....

a chill out saturday.

love spending saturday afternoons with dear.

especially since the both of us are always so busy and hardly ever have time to meet on the weekdays.
