I met Jo and Yan Ping to celebrate my 21st bdae yesterday! We went to this really ATAS area at Marina@ Keppel Bay where all the private yatches and jet skis were parked. We took a cab down from harbourfront and crossed the river towards Keppel Bay. The entrance was super gorgeous with all the orange lights in the midst of the dark sky. The photos, though very nice already, isn't good enough representation of the awe of the place! We went to eat TCC instead of Prive cause i decided it was too $$$$ for students as broke as us. But the food was good any o how, look at the salmon pasta i had! It was really yummy with it's spicy creamy base and sunny side up!
TCC at Keppel Bay was simply gorgeous with the mini chandeliars, too bad i didn't reserve for the seats beside the windows or we would have been able to enjoy the sea view!
After dinner and presents, we headed out to enjoy the fantastic scenery and also, spent our time running away from the irritating security guard!

"Girls arh, cannot take pictures of property arhz!"
"Girls arh, cannot use big camera, can only use small camera!"

"Girls arh, cannot take too many photos arh!"
!!!!!DAMN IRRITATING!!!!! what's so great about the stupid property?! it only costs maybe a few million bucks what! At most, I'll work 2 lifetimes to pay you back lar!
Look at my very own private yatch!! Ha! Stupid security guard, if i really owned that yatch, see if you wanna come and bug us again! why can't i take pictures of my OWN property huh?! (obviously, i'm being slightly deluded right now)
Behind us is Prive, the waterfront bar. Very good place to chill out and enjoy the sea breeze :) After which, we ran away from the main building to another open yard, where we hoped and prayed that the guard wouldn't catch us anymore...there we lited the fire sparklers!
Unfortunately, along with the sparks, we let out alot of smoke as well. it smelled like the whole place was on fire and well, that must have lured the darn security guard again....cause in like 10mins time....the black man came running out of no where and began his nonstop rambling AGAIN.
"Girls arhz, cannot play this thing here, can't even smoke here!!"
"Only can smoke over there, at the dustbin arh!"
(yar la, yar la, uncle, we get it, pls stop nagging)
DUSTBIN!!!! Thanks arh uncle! Why the heck did they build such a big yard if you can't play fire sparklers anywhere other than the dustbin!! SERIOUSLY, someone needs to complain! this is discrimination against smokers(technically we weren't even somking!)...
So we kept the fire sparklers and played with our glow sticks in the end. and it was lotsa fun, we looked like we came out from some Kylie Minogue concert or something, hurhur. We had glow sticks all over our bodies, from top to toe, and 3 of us walked back to the busstop with glowsticks all over us.
EVERYONE was staring!!! Boy, it was fun! Hahaha....
