into the aviary

went to visit bestie at jurong birdpark today :)

was really excited to visit the birdpark...actually, it was not so much of the birdpark but more of being able to do something different and interesting for once.

went around taking pictures around the aviaries and watched "part" of the hawk show while waiting for bestie to knock off from work.

ahh, i love the flamingoes! the colours were so vibrant & brilliant :)

we visited the lories loft where we got the chance to be up close & personal with the birds.

in short, i was panicking when the birds started flocking onto my hand in a fanatic attempt at feeding on the bird food.

bestie was so li hai lor, never flinch...much. lol. unlike me.

i must haf scared half the birds away with my squeals.

it was so ticklish having the birds pecking away at your hand and clawing on your arms.

so prettyy!!

who said Singapore had nothing! bet you never knew we had a waterfall!

it was a tiring day but i enjoyed myself thoroughly cause i had bestie to guide me around! Best bird guide ever! she could tell me the different species of birds and where each bird comes from (what country and whether they are aggressive or tame!)! I was impressed!Thanks jess!
