mummy's birthday

Make a guess where we went? :)

ARAB STREET

how cool is my mum?

when we were making suggestions on where to go for the birthday celebration...

i offered some options...One Fullerton? Dempsey??

and whaddaya know...

my mum being uber cool...

choose to go to some indie street.

my mummy's really pretty huh? :)

we were really adventurous that day...a lot of first times...

for instance...

we went to some turkish restaurant for arabic tea & hummus dips...

though i have to say...

the taste has really been altered to suit Singaporeans' taste cause honestly i think authentic turkish food taste like crap (from past experience in Istanbul where we survived mainly on chicken & rice for an entire week)

After dinner,we proceeded to scour the lanes of arab street...

passed by a couple of shee shaw houses...

guess what we did next?

ta dah! If you look close enough, you'll realize this is the menu for shee shaw flavours...mad lotta flavours, much more than that available in Canada.

31 flavours in total.

whatever you want, they've got...

apricot, banana, coconut, vanilla, mint, mango, cappuccino, pomengranate, double apple, etc etc.

honestly, i think my family felt that spontaneous urge for adventure that day cause never in the world would my dad have agreed to try out shee shaw (my family don't do smoking. it kills the lungs.)

and so we paid 14 bucks for shee shaw plus another 6 bucks for green apple tea.

eventually, we only gave it a few puffs and the 14 bucks mainly went to tons loada photos we took with the shee shaw pipe &jug (or whatever it is called).

lol.

what a day. love my family.
