dreaming of the blue domes

just got home from my interior design course. am damn tired and my back is aching from the strenous weight of my bag and the whole lotta walking i've been doing these past few days. so glad it's friday tomorrow, at least i don't hafta carry the tons of textbks around.

anyway, i'm gonna take a break from blogging about my daily activities for a while. i just wanna ogle and gush in sheer delight of the most gorgeous place in the entire world: Greece! lolx, after hearing so much about graduation trips these days, i just couldn't stop myself from checking out potential places i wanna visit!

Number 1 choice: Greece

it is located in southern Europe and the beauty of Greece lies in it's geographical landscape with its mountainous mainland & idyll island beaches.

the one place i MUST visit is Santorini, with it's white-washed houses, blue-domed churches, narrow alleys and a vast expanse of vivid blue sea. i wana watch the legendary sunsets in Oia, where the sunsets are said to be the most beauitful, at least in that part of the world.

Isn't everything so pleasurable to the eye??? And the place is filled with jewellery and art & craft stores. So dainty and tranquail. i almost wish i was a greek.

Oh! and there's even a live volcano there which visitors are allowed to visit!! WhOA! how awesome is that?!!

Santorini isn't the only picturesque area in Greece, the entire country seems to belong to a postcard and not real-life. Another place which would be really great for a short visit is Kefalonia. It's one of the small islands of Greece.

And what's a trip to Greece, without visiting the place of origins for the Olympians! Welcome to Athens! Equally breath-taking!

There's so many other landscapes in Greece that belong to the cover page of a magazine rather than an actual location. Honestly, I'd die a happy woman if my last days were spent in this extraordinary country. i really really wana go here at least once in my lifetime, lolx, maybe i should leave it to my honeymoon! hurhur.

First Second choice (i know, there's no such thing as a first second choice, but i wanna go here as much as i wanna go Greece!): USA! there's no need for pictures really, everyone knows what America looks like, it's more for shopping and the experience of being in the most powerful country of present times.

Third choice (not exactly a graduation trip option, lolx, cause it'd be tooo short and boring...nah, who am i kidding? I'd probably hafta starve for the next 2 years of my life in order to buy me a trip there): Bora Bora Island

omg. don't even get me started on how blue this beach is...i was wondering where exactly this island is and whaddya know, it's right smack in the middle of the pacific ocean!! omg. no wonder it's so blue.

what is Santorini compared to Bora Bora??

Like a lil' midget beside an etheral goddess. Bora Bora is a paradise on Earth.

Okay, i shall stop here because i am starting to sound like a travel catalogue and also cause i think i might start bawling in tears at the thought of being trapped in Singapore and not swimming in the Pacific Ocean, or riding donkeys in Greece or shopping in Soho New York or being chased by lions and zebras in Namibia(South Africa)... ...yes, oddly, that actually sounds more appealing to me than being in Singapore. lolx.
