fond of hats

Jason Mraz live at Indoor Stadium!! Woots!

absolute highlight of my week, of my year! lolx.

seriously. as rachel zoe would say, "i'd die" (slang for "i'd die if if i didn't go/have it")

He was fantastic as usual. Once again, i'm stilled stunned and awe-struck by his jaw-dropping vocal range and musical diversity. His falsetto in the song "Clockwatching" is crazy. He could totally be the next Andrea Bocelli(Famous tenor) if he wanted to, but omg. please don't. he is like the best, bestest(if there was ever such a word) folk-pop musician in the world right now. The reason why i love his live performances is because he's also a born-entertainer, he knows how to work the crowd and he is sooo funny in his own geeky way, without trying too hard. i love the way he's so laid back and the way he wears cotton t-shirts, jean and slippers on stage without caring what other people think. i wanna be like that too, i wanna be geeky but cool at the same time.

Sorry for the positively cheesy and goosebump inducing admiration and gushing. i'm almost suffering from withdrawal symptoms now. lol. and it's been barely a day or 2 since i saw his performance.

gosh. i wish he wasn't so famous now, i prefer it when he was less well-known and could hold his concert in smaller settings like the esplanade where he had the opportunity to actually converse with the crowd. he didn't really get to have much interaction with the crowd this time round (he almost sounded drunk some of the time cause he was slurring half the time) but he worked the crowd with his incredible vocal techniques.

anyway, i bought the jason mraz tee!! yay! i was rather upset when the stall outside didn't have any s sizes for the shirt i wanted but i managed to get it at the stall at the north entrance. Thank you God!

Char and I were very excited and we kept taking sooo many pictures and i recorded quite alot of voice recordings of the performance, haha. not very good quality though, too much screaming from adoring fans(that could highly mean me included :S). Oh! and i saw Marc and his sis too! They got free tickets to the show! Argh. and they got front facing seats, which were probably better than our side-viewing ones! why don't i get free tickets too?! jealous!

I am elated. and satisfied! whee! next up, rachel yamagata! lolx, not sure if i can afford though. oh well, 1 concert is good enough for me :)

and my bro just got 7 distinctions for his Alvls!!! out of 9 crazy subjects!! (i didn't even do 7 subjects for alvls!!! :S) we are sooooo proud of him!! The principal announced his name and he got on stage to receive his result slip! Must have been the proudest moment of his life, or maybe not, since he probably already went up a couple of times by now. The irritating part is......HE STUDIES LESS THAN I DO!!! wth.

anyway, my parents were so excited discussing over the many possibilities for him. like what scholarships he should apply for. whether he should go for medical school. i guess they're pretty excited over being able to discuss this kinda things because they never got the opportunity with me. :(

"kk, you go relax for 2 days first, relax then later think about what u want.must rest the mind" -dad said to my bro

"why didn't you tell me to relax when i got my alvl results back?" - me

"Cause he more excited mah, so must relax first. you not so excited. so don't need to relax" - dad
