went to watch ice age 3 (3d) after cell group on friday! something weird happened too, and it made me kinda bewildered but i shan't blog about it. i guess there's a first for everything. what a strange situation to be in, oh well, but what are good friends for if not to help each other out in times of need.
ANYWAY...
look at the spread! yes! that's what we had for supper :s what a guilt trip. but we were starving and since 2 out of 3 were sick, we settled for teochew porridge at 3 am in the morning! my fridays have been spent going out for movies and supper the past few weeks. late nights. REAALLLY late. like 5am reach home kinda late. okay, except for the week when i went for KH's wedding.
ice age 3 was surprisingly good! very funny and cute in a kinda feel good way. Shawn said it was really funny so i guess i was quite optimistic about it. thank goodness it didn't disappoint. was really afraid i would fall asleep when i realised it was a 3d movie, cause the last time i watched a 3d movie, the glasses gave me such a headache, i had trouble keeping awake. but this time, the glasses weren't giving me a problem at all! in fact, it was fantastic looking at the 3d perspective of the movie!
came home around 5am and woke up around 9+am to visit YY at the hospital. but as usual, i'm a lazy bum, lazed around till noon before i went down to visit her. she had a minor op on her knee and was warded for about a day so i wanted to visit her to keep her company :) i know how boring hospitals can get without the company of people! she was doing great when i visited her, complaining about the doctors and nurses, being her usual fussy self, haha. she'll take a while before she can walk properly, but otherwise, she's doing really well i think.
chatted with her mom too. her mom looks soooo young and like YY, she's small-sized too :) her mom is real funny and was nice too, usually i clam up when talking to elderly(technically speaking she's not really an elderly cause she's not that old la, lol) but she was really relatable and amicable.
after which, i went to malay village for while. it's this new place at geylang serai where you get to see Malay culture and all. the place was kinda deserted though. a few photographers were there filming some project.
